Campus Discussion Groups
In collaboration with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Queer Alliance; the ASUO student organizations, there are opportunities for participating and leading discussion groups. Below is a list of a variety of groups some of which are currently active. However we are always hoping for new group facilitators so if you are interested in volunteering or interning with the LGBTESSP to host a weekly discussion group contact us at program@uoregon.edu.
All campus groups are open to those who self-identify with the topic and/or identity presented. We ask that all individuals who would like to participate in these groups help us ensure a welcoming space. Facilitators are present at each session but they are not trained mental health professionals. If you attend a program and have questions about other resources your facilitator can point you in the right direction.
